Hogue's Advanced Tamer technology features an internal Sorbothane cushion that helps soften felt recoil in the web of your hand. Pistol grip design includes dual palm swells and equally proportioned finger grooves, allowing for ambidextrous use. Soft pebble textured rubber surface provides anti-slip grip even when wet. Includes sling swivel stud on the bottom of the grip and thick allen head mounting bolt. Installation requires removal of your existing stock and replacing it with this unit. Most conventional Mossberg 5090/590 stocks are very easy to remove. They usually have a rubber buttpad that is held in place by two screws. One you remove the screws, the buttpad will come off and provide access to a hollow channel inside the stock. At the end of this hollow channel you will find a bolt that attaches the stock to the rear end of the shotgun.
